I bought this stone in the '80s at a mining town called Teófilo Otoni in Brazil. This amethyst was among the most beautiful stones for that buying trip. Back in NYC, I carved the silver ring for her. Many years later, I decided to offer it for sale. I did some more polishing and fixing minor problems around the setting and improved the ring. It was great to see it back to life again many years later, and I hope it is for you.
